Readiness, Response and Recovery: Managing Urban Forests for Disasters

Do you know what processes and contracts are needed to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters affecting the urban forest? This workshop will highlight key aspects from a newly developed storm planning guide and provide practical tips from experts who have experienced storms and recovery firsthand. From navigating FEMA to replanting the urban forest, our instructors will teach you how to handle the next storm in your community.
