i-Tree Training Workshops

What is i-Tree? i-Tree was developed by the USDA Forest Service Research. It is a state-of-the-art, peer-reviewed FREE computer software suite containing urban forest inventory and analysis tools. i-Tree tools help communities assess and care for their neighborhood trees and forests that improve our health, well-being, and the environment. Reports and information generated by i-Tree will help raise awareness about the benefits of trees and forests, not just as amenities, but as an integral and essential part of the neighborhoods we call home.

FUFC will be hosting three, two-day regional i-Tree training workshops.  These training workshops will focus on providing attendees with the ability to utilize the various i-Tree applications listed below to quantify the value of the trees in their community.

  • i-Tree Species
  • i-Tree MyTree
  • i-Tree Design
  • i-Tree Canopy
  • i-Tree Landscape
  • i-Tree Streets
  • i-Tree Eco

The workshops will include hands-on exercises to help attendees feel more comfortable utilizing each application.
