Utility Partner Membership

What is the “Utility Partner Membership”? FUFC Utility Partner Membership is a membership level that provides benefits tailored to utilities that conduct vegetation management.

Who is eligible? If you manage trees and utility lines, you are eligible to join FUFC as a Utility Partner. This includes municipal utilities, cooperatives, sewer/water utility groups, telecommunication companies, utility consultants, and others.

Why are Utility Partners important to FUFC? Utility companies conduct the vast majority of tree work in urban areas and your work is highly visible within the communities you serve. Quality tree care and thoughtful development of future plantings in the urban forest is critical to maintaining reliable utilities and a healthy urban tree canopy. These are mutual goals among Florida’s utilities and the FUFC.

Why should a utility join FUFC? Becoming an FUFC Utility Partner provides resources to support designation as a “Tree Line Utility,” marketing tools to illustrate your commitment to quality tree care in your community, access to a broad network of professionals affiliated with FUFC, and continuing education opportunities. Specifically, Utility Partner Membership benefits include:

  • FUFC Annual Membership which includes up to five individuals
  • FUFC Endorsement Logo (copy of FUFC logo and rights to publish on your Utility website)
  • Right Tree, Right Place Bill Stuffer template
  • FUFC Membership Networking List
  • FUFC Member Referral List (Certified Utility Arborists)
  • Framed Right Tree, Right Place Poster
  • One complimentary registration to the annual Urban Forestry Institute

How much does it cost? The current promotional rate is $349.00
